My Experience Of My Life My Quality Of Life - 848 Words

If you only had nine months to live, what would you do with the time you had left? Allow me to tell you a story of what I would do with mine. Recently I visited my Primary Care Physician for a routine physical. Unfortunately, I was astonished by the results. I was told my days were numbered. My physician informed me I would be deceased within nine months. However, there was an upside, if I could keep my spirit’s high during the ill-fated situation I was faced with. My quality of life would not be diminished during my last months. Ironically, it was the same amount of time my parents had to prepare for my birth after conception. When thinking about that, the first thing that came to mind was my twenty-two-month-old twins Landon and Leila. I†¦show more content†¦She was in her cute turquoise and white tutu swimsuit. Her playful smile was incredibly adorable. There were many other videos and pictures that were indescribable. A thousand words could not even do the job ade quately. Secondly, we went to their only living Great Grandmothers eighty-fourth birthday. The video footage and photos of that trip were also unforgettable. Leila and Landon ate a variety of new foods. The facial expressions captured were truly priceless. Some evoked memories of my own childhood. They had expressions of disgust and others were of delight from my grandmothers mouthwatering and deliciousness food. Another memorable video was of Leila, Landon and their cousins chasing the beautiful yet territorial ducks. It was hilarious. My Grandmother playfully chased the kids, the kids chased the parent ducks and the parent ducks chased the baby ducks around the pond in the back yard. Several generations of my family were laughing. These were the type of memories I wanted to capture and leave for them. There were many other memorable events and trips that videos and pictures captured during those nine months. However, I also knew I had to plan for my children’s future. I began with the easiest task first. Getting the easy ones out of the way first would allow me to focus my efforts on the time consuming yet inevitable ones.
